Wildflower Grill

For my last birthday, my parents and I went to Wildflower Grill for my birthday dinner. It’s a modern fine dining restaurant that’s perfect for celebrating a special event or just for date night. The service was very friendly and attentive. For food, there is a wide variety of choices for many different tastes compared to other fine dining restaurants that have very selected entrees. It was a bit higher priced but worth the money. The food quality and presentation were superb and I could definitely see why there was a lot of high feedback for this place!

Amuse Bouche
To start off our meal, our waiter brought us each a complimentary amuse bouche. It translates into a single, bite sized hors d’ouvre. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the name of the exact item but I remember enjoying it a lot. It contained mini prawns and had a creamy sauce that had a touch of tartness. It’s not available on the menu either. The chef changes the amuse bouche daily.
Brioche Bread with Organic Sea Salt Butter
The complimentary brioche bread was delicious! It was freshly baked in house and served in a measuring cup – quite odd but cool. The bread was so soft and warm. The organic butter had bits of Hawaiian sea salt in it to give it some flavouring.

Potato Gnocchi (around) $16
I’m pretty sure it was my first time trying gnocchi. The small potato dumplings were surrounded in a sweet pea puree. Triple smoked bacon, basil, and Serrano ham crisp accompanied the gnocchi. The gnocchi was very soft and a bit moist from the sauce.
Organic Chicken Breast Supreme (around) $35
The chicken breast was of a decent size. It was juicy and tender in a chasseur sauce. The sauce added a very savoury touch to the chicken. Served with it were roasted potatoes, smoked bacon, and balsamic glazed beets which complemented the protein nicely.
Sadly, I was too stuffed by the end of the night to have dessert. I really enjoyed my dinner though and it certainly made my birthday night a bit more memorable with delicious, quality food! Wildflower Grill also serves lunch and brunch for those who don’t want to spend more on dinner.
