Tutti Frutti Breakfast and Lunch

Everytime I tell someone about going to Tutti Frutti for breakfast, they always question why they would eat frozen yogurt in the morning. That would actually be pretty yummy in the morning but probably not healthy and as filling as the other Tutti Frutti. Tutti Frutti Breakfast and Lunch is located in the Mayfield area and they close at 3 pm everyday. They have a huge variety of breakfast in their menu but there are also some savoury dishes for lunch. The pricing is pretty reasonable and the portions are filling enough for an early meal!

The fruit cocktail for $3.50. It’s a mixture of fruits that is similar to a smoothie but doesn’t have as thick of a texture. Delicious!

I ordered the Blue Velvet for myself (around $12.50 – I don’t remember exact pricing). I was debating between ordering a crepe but then I really wanted the home potatoes so this plate came with both! The blueberry crepes were also served with my choice of eggs, bacon, and some fresh fruit. The home potatoes were cooked and seasoned well, adding a nice, salted when eaten with the eggs. The blueberry crepes were thin which was good cause the rest of the plate was already filling. A side of maple syrup was served for the crepes. 

My friend ordered the camembert cheese and mushrooms eggs benedict. It was also served with fruit and he got cheese and onions added to his home potatoes. He had no complaints about his meal.

My other friend ordered the Tutti Frutti special (around $14) which came with a cinammon bun cut into 2 slices, topped with an egg, bacon, and a large amount of fresh fruit. She really enjoyed it and thought it was a great deal. One thing that she mentioned was that the plating wasn’t as great as it should’ve been. 

Overall, Tutti Frutti’s service was friendly and quick. I would definitely recommend giving it a try. If Tutti Frutti is too far for you, it’s opening soon in the northside in the Skyview area! You’ll probably find me there a lot when it opens because it’s one of my top places to go to for breakfast.
