Farrow Sandwiches

Farrow Sandwiches just opened last weekend right beside the Three Boars Eatery. It’s a small place but the atmosphere is laidback and hip. I really enjoyed the interior and layout of the place a lot. There’s limited seating inside with a few picnic tables in the front. Even though I came during the lunch rush, the line up moved pretty quickly.

Their menu features 4 sandwiches, which changes every few days, priced between $7 – $8. For drinks, there is specialty brewed coffee from Stumpton Roasters ($2.50 a cup) and Jarritos, which is a Mexican soda, for $3 a glass bottle.

I ordered the Gric Middle ($7) because I love any sandwich that has a fried egg in it. Along with that, it had bacon, swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and spicy ketchup. I didn’t taste the spicy ketchup at all but the bacon went along nicely with the runny yolk. It was kind of like a gourmet version of a fast food breakfast sandwich. I finished my sandwich pretty quickly and was still hungry after. Usually I have a small appetite, too! The sandwich was tasty but for its price, I wish it was more filling.
Farrow Sandwiches is opened from 7 am to 2 pm and is closed on Tuesdays. Soon after we went, they tweeted that they were out of sandwiches so I guess we got lucky! It would probably be better to go earlier. On their website, they claim that they are “probably the best sandwiches in town”. I wouldn’t say that it was the best but one of the better ones for sure. I wish them the best and will probably be back soon.
